Douglas M. Lorang—General Manager of IMDS Co-Innovation Utah
Douglas Lorang serves as the General Manager of IMDS Co-Innovation™ Utah. In this role, Mr. Lorang oversees and directs world-class product development of medical device products. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of Business Development, identifying and securing new product development opportunities for the company. He now manages the Logan, Utah operations at IMDS Co-Innovation and closely collaborates with partners to ensure their success.
Mr. Lorang has worked in the medical device industry since 1996 and has led the development of over 15 products from concept through launch. In 2005, he co-founded OsteoLign, now NovaLign Orthopaedics, a start-up company focused on minimally invasive fracture fixation. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University and an M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
