Dan Justin—Chief Technology Officer
Dan Justin serves as Chief Technology Officer for IMDS. He has over 20 years of proven business development, project management, design and intellectual property experience that has contributed to the success of diverse products and companies throughout the medical device industry. During his tenure at IMDS from 2002 through 2009, he has served as Vice President of Research and Development and then Vice President of Business Development and Intellectual Property. In these roles he helped build a team of over 75 product development engineers, patent attorneys, patent agents, machinists and other professionals who have worked on more than 125 successful medical device products that are now used by surgeons worldwide.
Mr. Justin's prior positions include Engineering/R&D Manager at DePuy Mitek, Inc., Director of Research and Development at Innovasive Devices, Inc. and Co-Founder/Vice President of Orthodyne, Inc. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a registered U.S. Patent Agent and has been granted over 70 U.S. patents.
