Supply Chain Manager Vandalia, Ohio
The Supply Chain Manager administers the activities and personnel involved in Procuring products and outside resource management, traditional purchasing, materials planning, production planning, inventory control, logistics and distribution to ensure customer orders are timely fulfilled and inventory turnover goals are met.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

§ Communicates or directs communications with customers regarding delivery and scheduling issues through Sales Support and Planner/Schedulers.
§ Determines order priorities for manufacturing personnel assuring that delivery dates are met.
§ Responsible for supplier management and vendor relationships.
§ Responsible for all purchasing and review of purchase contracts.
§ Responsible for cost controls and materials management.
§ Responsible for inventory management in raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
§ Responsible for scheduling and production planning with final authority to schedule equipment.
§ Responsible for delivery portion of Contract Review.
§ Manage the Production Planning, Tool Crib and Supply Chain departments.
§ Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
§ Effectively communicate and build relationships with all stakeholders
§ Subject matter expert.
§ Sets direction and goals for department and personnel.
§ Operates with high level of integrity, transparency and honesty.
§ Effectively communicate information, both formally and informally, such as data, methods, findings and remediation recommendations at all levels within the organization and with key external stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
§ Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) required, and master's degree preferred, or four to ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
§ APICS (C.P.I.M.) certification preferred.
§ Demonstrated use of Analytical, Facilitation and Teambuilding skills
§ Possess a strong sense of ownership, accountability and urgency
§ Effective interpersonal skills, with proven ability to act hands-on and to work directly cross functionally
§ Experience with IT / ERP / other software (preferably Epicor) and technology implementations, challenges and solutions
§ Previous work experience in an ISO Manufacturing environment preferred.
§ Should possess leadership qualities and managerial abilities.
§ An ability to constantly monitor the supply chain.
§ Strong strategic skills.
§ A strong and dedicated understanding towards the client’s needs and basic requisites.
