Swiss Machine CNC Programmer / Machinist Logan, Utah

IMDS is seeking an experienced CNC programmer and machinist, capable of driving best practice for Swiss Screw machining of fine tolerance medical implants.

The successful candidate will be our key programmer for a cell of Tsugami Swiss machines, developing programs from solid models and prints, and coordinating with machinists and technicians to achieve fast setups and cycle times.    Since we are making medical devices, quality is paramount.

In addition, the role involves maintaining a strong grasp of new technologies and techniques to help IMDS remain a leader in Swiss machining.

Requirements

Skills and Ability;

• 5 + years experience operating and programming Swiss machines required.
• Tsugami machine experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of SolidWorks and 3D machine programming using Partmaker required.

·       Mastercam and Esprit experience preferred.

• Experience running and programming Mori-seki and Mazak 5-axis mills and mill/turn preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of GD&T required.
