Responsible for collaborating with onsite product development engineers to create designs and drawings for medical device instrumentation and implants. May assist in testing, protocol creation, technical memo drafting, analysis and other similar engineering technician related activities.

Requirements

• At least three years experience with the latest Solidworks revisions
• Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles, part design, and DFM primarily for machined components
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 2007 including Word, Excel and Power Point
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, collaborative, and achievement-oriented personality that works well in a fast paced environment
• Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications include:

• Medical device and machining experience
• Working knowledge of materials, statics, dynamics, and mechanics principles
• Trade certification
